Spark Arc ST

The Arc ST offers splitboarders an unmatched touring and riding experience. Lightweight with medium flex straps and highbacks, our industry-leading splitboard binding excels in the trees and powder, but is tough enough to handle more complex all-mountain conditions. The new ST Touring Brackets and ST Whammy Bars make this binding even more efficient for touring.

New For 2023:

Spark made some great updates to the line with new asymmetric highbacks, baseplate refinements that improve durability and the all-new ST Tech. ST stands for Smooth Touring and will be seen in the touring brackets, the whammy bars and the crampons. This process of overmolding allows them to inject plastic over the metal parts for the best combination of strength and smooth rotation.

Updated Sizing:

Spark has moved to a unisex binding line. The size charts have been meld into one, from XS to L. Bindings are now available in all the same colorways for men and women.

Baseplate
The baseplate is CNC machined with maximum cutouts to shave weight yet maintain strength. It also allows you to adjust the pucks without removing the bindings.

Tesla T1 System: Bindings slide sideways into the offset touring brackets and are locked into place with the snap ramp (the part right under your toes). No pins, no cable, no fiddle factor. To ride, slide across Spark or Voilé pucks (sold separately) and again, press down the snap ramp.

ST Whammy Bar Climbing Wire: A single fatty wire with a side arm lever that allows you to easily switch from stowed to low (12°), to high (18°) climbing positions and back again while touring. Overmolded plastic where the bar contacts the baseplate allows for super-smooth climbing wire deployment and transitions.

ST Touring Brackets: Incorporate the best features of aluminum and thermoplastics. A plastic blend is molded over and through the holes in the aluminum base, forming bushings that last four times longer than their previous brass version.
Hi-Back
The Arc highback has a moderate amount of glass fiber fill for medium flex and a surfy feel.

New Asym Rip ‘N’ Flip Highback: Asymmetrical design features individual left and right highbacks that slope inward matching the rider’s stance. The upper section is flatter for improved lateral mobility. More material at the base for increased longevity and durability. The tool free forward lean adjuster (FLAD) offers complete customization from 0 to 22° in ride mode. The FLAD toggles easily between lean position and -13° touring position for easy transitions.

Straps
Lateral slots accomodates Strappy Straps for additionnal comfort on firm skin tracks (sold separately).

Pillow Line Straps: They are ultradurable, comfortable, waterproof and a one-piece molded construction. Thin and flexible for comfort, while the thicker ribs are held off the boots and provide stiffness for a uniquely responsive ride.

Toe straps are designed to be used as a toe cap, but also fit nicely as a traditional strap across the top of the boot.

Incorporates Burton’s time-tested bomber buckles.
