The Swedish footwear brand FUBUKI (Japanese for “snowstorm”) has since its founding in 2019 received lots of attention for its shockingly lightweight winter boots. Today, the company’s products are worn by a wide variety of people, ranging from skiers and fishers to movie directors and polar researchers. There seem to be many reasons FUBUKI has gained such a large fan base. Whereas some point to the function, not to mention the design, of the products, others point to the Japanese backstory. Regardless of which, it is clear that the brand is here to stay.
Niseko 3.0 is the updated and, in many ways, improved version of its predecessor, Niseko 2.0. This incredibly warm, incredibly durable, and incredibly lightweight snow boot will have you question everything you’ve ever worn, wintertime, before. The strong EVA outer shell, in combination with the soft inner lining, makes this boot difficult to compete with in terms of both comfort and insulation. Design-wise, the boot has been inspired by traditional, northern Japanese fishing/road worker boots. In other words, although worn all year round by some people, this boot has been built for harsh, snowy weather conditions.

La meilleure recommandation pour le choix de grandeur de vos FUBUKI est de choisir la taille que vous portez dans la plupart de vos autres chaussures. Il n’y a aucune raison de prendre une taille au-dessus, sauf si vous êtes normalement entre deux tailles. Vous n'avez pas besoin de prendre une taille au-dessus afin d'avoir assez d'espace pour porter une chaussette plus épaisse, la doublure se tassera au fur et à mesure que vous porterez vos bottes.
FUBUKIs best recommendation these days is that you pick the size you wear in most of your other shoes. If you do so, you will probably end up with the right size in your Nisekos. There’s no reason to size up unless you’re normally in between two sizes. Sizing up to make room for a thicker sock is not something you have to consider. The lining will pack out a little as you begin to use the boots.
