Amplid Snommelier
For riders with a nose for pow days of the finest
vintage, the Snommelier’s acute geometries and
construction techniques combine for a unique kind
of big mountain experience.
Seat-of-the-pants speed is balanced by a velvet
smoothness that locks your edges in for control and
stability at the limits. This season, it’s been levelled
up with extra honeycomb to reduce weight even
further.
With its deep swallow tail and extensive nose, the
Snommellier is Peter Bauer’s go-to on the biggest
days. And, in keeping with the FUTURE SHAPES
family, provides a riding sensation unlike anything
else.

DIRECTIONAL / CRUISE CAMBER: A half-fat camber for all-mountain dominance. Cruise Camber’s toned-down dimensions deliver a precise and lively feel much like Pop Camber, but with much improved deep snow performance and a more “broken-in” feel out of the shrinkwrap. In Amplid’s directional snowboards a touch of early rise is added to Cruise Camber to improve buoyancy even further.

Core
HEXO2 LITE TECHNOLOGY: Featured only in Amplid’s Thick Cut Core, HEXO2 LITE places honeycomb in the tips, but not between the bindings. The weightsaving from removing excess material reduces swing weight and heightens responsiveness.
OMNI CORE: A dependable, low density Poplar wood core which is lightweight, durable and has great flex memory. The industry standard for great performance.

Fiberglass
CARBON POP BAND: A narrow band of uni-directional carbon stringers that run through the centreline of a snowboard from tip-to-tail increasing pop and extending flex memory without altering torsional stiffness.
BIAXIAL GLASS: Using Biaxial Glass in the construction of our shreds gives them a flawless blend of response and playfulness whilst keeping them ridiculously lightweight.
IMPACT PADS: Lasercut plates made of precured hardglass are milled out of the core and laid in below the main laminate. Prevents ugly binding dings.

Base
SINTERED 7 BASE: A premium sintered plastic which readily absorbs wax and will outrun your riding buddies’ bases without breaking a sweat. You better get used to waiting.
Edges
THICK CUT: Thick Cut Cores have a thicker profile in the tip and tail for several reasons: This flex profile suits a larger variety of rider‘s bio specs, it reduces vibrations and increases stiffness where you need it. The reduced nose and tail deflection improves deep snow float, adds control and increases stability.
Additional Details
FLOATATION TIPS: Ultra wide, low rising tips that exist purely to create lift in powder without sucking-up speed. They add a surfy feel to snowboards.
